STAIB designs and manufactures innovative, high performance, reliable instruments and systems for in situ material analysis, including: RHEED systems to study structure, film quality in UHV & high pressure; AugerProbe for studying elemental composition in situ and real time during growth; ESA and DESA energy spectrometers (for Auger AES, SAM, XPS, and UPS) for analytical surface studies; a full range of Electron Guns for analytical surface studies-flood, general purpose, low energy, micro- and nano-focus; SEM using STAIB micro-focus guns; Photo-Electron Emission Microscopes (PEEM), ESCA; Ion & X-ray Sources, and Multi-Technique Surface Analysis Systems for stand alone use or attached to transfer or distribution lines. Components and systems can be tailored to suit individual customer’s needs.
