Joining Instructions for Exhibitors 


The following information has been compiled help you plan your table top stand at ICMBE 2022 and to make the most out of your time in Sheffield. This page will be updated regularly so please check back for updates! If you have any questions, please email claire.garland@iop.org

Exhibition Furniture

The following furniture is included within your stand package:

Your stand does not include a table cloth or poster boards so please supply your own table cloth and banners.

Unloading and Loading

Please unload via the Loading Bay Entrance. This is located at the back of the building on Surrey Lane, which can be accessed from Sheaf Street (A61) via Harmer Lane (turning for Sheffield Interchange bus station), then Pond Street. The loading bay is located on Level 4 of the building. Important Note: AVOID the bus gate -  you will be fined if you cross this, so be very careful to turn off Pond Street just BEFORE the Howard pub. See image and map

Parking is not available on the goods road so please unload/load before moving your vehicle (see below for car parking).  There will be trollies available and there is a large goods lift to get material from the goods entrance to the Heartspace on level 2.


Deliveries of Goods to the Venue
All deliveries should arrive from Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 16:00 and come via the Goods Entrance at the address below.

Please ensure you include your address, event name (ICMBE 2022), date of the event (4-9 September), your stand number, and Sheffield Hallam University (Heartspace Atrium).

Storage
There are lockable storage areas in the Heartspace to store cartoons and any items which cannot be left unattended overnight. Additional storage is available in the Norfolk Building for larger items. 

Collections
Storage is limited so where possible please take all items away with you. If you do need to arrange collection via courier, please make sure that your collection is before 16:00 on Friday or from 08:00 on Monday. Porters will collect the material from the Heartspace and move to the Goods entrance ready for collection.

  • COMPANY NAME AND CONTACT.
  • FULL RETURN ADDRESS.
  • COLLECTION DATE – MUST BE NO LATER THAN 1 DAYS AFTER THE EVENT
  • COURIER COMPANY NAME WHO ARE COLLECTING ITEMS
  • We cannot take responsibly of items left for collection

Parking

Documentation

Current PAT Test Certificates must be supplied 10 working days in advance of the event date covering any electrical equipment you plan to bring on site. Public Liability Insurance Certificate must also be supplied as above. Please send to claire.garland@iop.org
