Dr Kenichi Nishi

Kenichi Nishi had joined QDLaser, Inc. in 2008 and been working with MBE systems for growing quantum dot/well layers. His research interest relates with self-assembled, high-density quantum dots for laser applications. He started his research carrier from 1983 when he joined NEC and since then, he had been growing III-V semiconductor layer structures for optical devices mainly with MBE. Now he is a Technical Director at QDLaser and producing the laser wafers for high-performance quantum dot lasers for silicon photonics and other applications.
