Rafael Chu

Rafael Chu is a student researcher at Korea Institute of Science and Technology and PhD student at University of Science and Technology in South Korea. He obtained his Master's and Bachelor's degrees from University of the Philippines Diliman and Ateneo de Manila University.  He is currently pursuing his research in the Compound Semiconductor Epitaxy & Photonics Lab led by Daehwan Jung, where he has been exploring the growth of InAs quantum dots/dashes on GaAs, Si, and InP substrates for emission in the 1.1–2.0 micron spectral ranges.
