Registration

This event is open to everyone from all backgrounds, whether you are a practicing physicist or simply have an interest in the subject and wish to learn more. We encourage you to register by the early booking deadline of May 9, 2025; however, registration will remain available until June 29, 2025.

Registration Fees

The registration fees include access to the programme of talks, daily refreshments, the welcome reception at the Science Centre on Monday, July 14, and a drinks reception at the SEC on Tuesday, July 15. Please note that the registration fee does not cover lunch, which can be purchased separately for £10 per person per day, or the conference dinner priced at £58 per person. The conference dinner will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central on Thursday, July 17, and will feature a pre-dinner reception followed by a three-course menu with wine. Tickets for both lunches and the conference dinner can be purchased during the registration process.

Soup & 1/2 Sandwich + soft drink

A limited number of lunch vouchers will be available for purchase onsite, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure a smooth experience and avoid queues or disappointment, we strongly encourage participants to secure their tickets in advance of the conference.

Accompanying Person's Programme

Includes a drinks reception at the Science Centre on Monday, drinks at the SEC on Tuesday, and the Conference Networking Dinner on Thursday, July 17. You can purchase this ticket when you register for the conference.

If you have submitted an abstract, please use the same login credentials otherwise you should create a new account. Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible. All cancellations must be made in writing. Full details can be found in our terms and conditions. Submission of a registration is regarded as a firm booking (subject to availability) and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Participant's absence at the conference is not the basis for refund of the Conference fee.

Payment of Fees

In order to ensure that it complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS") and for the protection of its members and others, the Institute of Physics will only accept credit and/or debit card payments online through STRIPE secure payment server.

If you are paying by BACS/Purchase order, please note this option will only be available until the early registration deadline, after which you will need to pay by credit or debit card when registering. For Bacs payments, an invoice will be attached to your registration confirmation. Our payment terms are strictly 30 days. Information on payment methods can be found via our website. We reserve the right to cancel any unpaid registrations. All payments must be received June 29, 2025.
