Preparing your presentation
Please ensure that you keep within your allocated time slot as these will be strictly enforced by the session chairs.
The presenting author is responsible for ensuring the necessary copyright / permissions for all material included within the presentation.
We encourage presenters to submit their presentations in PDF or PowerPoint format. Use of Keynote is discouraged.
Uploading your presentation and the on the day management
Please bring your presentation on a memory stick and upload it in the Speaker Preview Room (see below) ideally the day before your session or at least four hours prior. Direct connection of personal laptops to the session computer is not permitted. The Speaker Preview Room is located in Etive Room.
Your presentation will be uploaded to the relevant session computer in preparation for your talk. There will be an AV technician in the room or nearby if help is required.
When uploading your presentation at the speaker preview room, we recommend that you check for correct presentation of your files - in particular if they contain videos or other animated items.
The Chair of the session will introduce each talk and then moderate all questions from the audience.
The lecture theatres are equipped with the following audio-visual equipment/support
Projector
Screen
PC/Laptop
Lectern (fixed) and microphone
Wireless microphone
Clicker and laser pointer
There will be AV support in each room/nearby, if required.
