I am a second-year PhD student at Sapienza and part of the Virgo Roma group. I am interested in gravitational wave physics. In particular, the focus of my work is the machine learning data analysis of interferometric data to search for long transient gravitational waves, such as the ones emitted by newly born magnetars. In addition, I am interested in exploiting the joint detection of gravitational-wave events and their electromagnetic counterparts to obtain insights on the equation of state of dense matter in neutron star interiors.
