Andrea Maselli
Associate Professor, Gran Sasso Science Institute

I am associate professor at the Gran Sasso Science Institute.

My research work focuses on strong gravity and modelling of  compact objects in General Relativity and beyond, as gravitational wave sources and laboratories to test fundamental physics in extreme regimes.

My current activity focuses on studying the effects of alternative theories of gravity and non-vacuum environments on the signals emitted by compact binary sources.
