Please find below guidance notes which have been compiled to ensure the successful running of the conference sessions.
Please make sure you have consulted the programme and are aware of the date and time of the session you are chairing. Note that some chairs have been allocated to more than one session.
The chair of the session is asked to introduce each speaker by reading out their full name and the title of their talk. Please note some speakers will be joining us virtually.
Join the online sessions and moderate questions received via chat. Please make sure that you welcome those joining online at the beginning of the session.
Ensure the speaker does not go over their allocated time as follows:
Plenary Talks: 45 minutes (35 + 10 minutes for questions)
Invited Talks: 30 minutes (25 + 5 minutes for questions)
Contributed Oral Talks: 15 (12 + 3 minutes for questions)
ITP Programme: 25 minutes (3-5 minutes for questions)
