Bursaries


A limited number of bursaries which are provided by the Rank Prize Fund are available for students attending Photon 2022. 

The value of the bursary is £200. Students wishing to apply for a bursary must meet the following criteria:

  1. Your application must include a letter (or email) of support from your Supervisor or Head of Department
  2. Bursaries will only be awarded to graduate students applying for an advanced degree in a suitable subject (i.e., one of relevant to Photon 2022) at a University in the UK or Republic of Ireland.
  3. Applicants must attend Photon 2022 for the full duration of the meeting.
  4. Preference will be given to candidates who are authors of a paper to be given at the meeting (either in oral or poster format)
