The lecture theatres are equipped with the following audio-visual equipment:

  • Data Projector (11000 lumens)
  • Screen
  • Lapel or hand-held radio microphones
  • Presenter’s laptop
  • Remote clicker
  • Laser Pointer

Preparing your presentation

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary copyright / permissions for all material included within their presentation.
  • We recommend that you use a minimum font size of 16pt and that you choose colours that contrast and compliment.
  • The screen resolution will be 16:9.
  • As we will be streaming the talks, authors must bring their presentation on a USB memory stick and pre-load onto the presenter’s laptop in the Lecture Theatre.

Delivering your presentation

  1. Please make sure you have consulted the programme and are aware of the date and time for your talk.
  2. Ensure you keep to the time allocated as this will be strictly enforced by the conference chairs.
    1. Plenary Talks: 45 minutes (35 + 10 minutes for questions)
    2. Invited Talks: 30 minutes (25 + 5 minutes for questions)
    3. Contributed Oral Talks: 15 (12 + 3 minutes for questions)
    4. ITP Programme: 25 minutes (3-5 minutes for questions)
  3. Talks will be live streamed for those participating virtually. We therefore recommend that you use a minimum of 16-point font and use bold colours for text to ensure legibility.
