Marko Karlušić

Marko's research is focused on the interaction of swift heavy ions and matter. In particular, he showed strong interest in the formation of ion tracks in technologically important materials such as SrTiO3, GaN, SiC, SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3, CaF2, graphite and graphene. The use of ion beams to nanostructure materials, both on and below the surface, has also attracted his attention over the years.
