The organisers and the organising committee recognise their environmental responsibilities and are committed to ensuring the event is as sustainable as possible. We therefore encourage participants, wherever possible, to use sustainable means to get to the IBMM Conference at Queen Mary University London and travelling around London.

Please note, travel around London does not require an Oyster card, you can simply use contactless payment, so there is no need to purchase an Oyster card.

Queen Mary University of London has two nearby tube (underground) stations:

Mile End Station: Located just 0.2 miles (a 5-minute walk) from QMUL, served by the Central Line (RED).

Stepney Green Station: Located 0.3 miles (a 6-minute walk) from QMUL, served by the District Line (GREEN), Circle Line (YELLOW), and Hammersmith & City Line (PINK).

For delegates not staying on the university campus and traveling by train or bus, it may be more cost-efficient to purchase a weekly Zone 1-2 Travelcard (7 days) for £42.70 or a Zone 1-3 Travelcard for £50.20.
