Guidance for Exhibitors


The following information has been compiled to help you plan your stand at IBMM2024 and make the most out of your time in London. This page will be updated so please check back for updates. If you have any questions, email fatima.kanu@iop.org

The exhibition will be held in the People’s Palace Mezzanine – Exhibition area for our exhibitors,

What is included?
Each exhibitor will be provided with a table measuring 180 cm x 80 cm along with two chairs. The People's Palace Mezzanine is an open area and while security will lock the building at the end of each day, it will still be accessible for Queen Mary staff with access cards. If you have any equipment that needs to be stored securely, there is a overnight storage cloakroom facility. We can each morning /evening take items in to store away securely. Please speak to Fatima during the event and further information will be provided.  

Your package also includes: 

  • A stand in the exhibition area consisting of 1x trestle table and 2x chairs for each exhibitor.
  • Free registration for 1 representatives (to include refreshments and lunch for the two exhibition days (Monday and Tuesday) 
  • Welcome reception (Sunday)
  • Access to the technical sessions for one company representative 
  • Conference dinner ticket for 2 company representatives.

All exhibitors are asked to register via the website so that we can ensure all your requirements are catered for. Exhibitors will receive a discount code. 

Deliveries and Collection:
Deliveries: Due to limited storage space available at the venue, parcels can only be received two days before the event (in your case Friday 28th June). 
Collections; Must be arranged two days after the event or risk items being disposed. 
Boxes must be clearly labelled with the event title and date.

Build and Breakdown:
Exhibitors can set up their stand from 8:00 on Monday July 1st and can break down their stands from 18:00 on Tuesday.

Exhibition hours:

Monday 1 July8:30 - 18:00
Tuesday 2nd July 09:00 - 18:00

Power sockets: Are limited in spaces; therefore, we recommend exhibitors minimise power requirements. Exhibitors are welcome to use available sockets in the vicinity, but no trailing cables for health and safety reasons. QMUL provides extension leads to hire at £5 per cable. These are 1m in length and are 4 ways (to avoid trailing cables). Alternatively, you could bring your own similar to this.  

Parking: 
Parking is not available at Queen Mary University London campus; however, there are limited disabled care parking bays for blue badge holders which require being booked in advance. Names of driver, vehicle registration and time in/out. please advise fatima.kanu@iop.org as soon as possible as we will need to provide staff with your details. 
There is short-stay parking available, and you are welcome to use the Bancroft Road gate for loading and unloading equipment. If you're unsure of the location type in 'Bancroft Road, Queen Mary University' into Google Maps.
Additionally, the nearest car park is located in Stratford, Westfield shopping centre.
