Nominations for the IBMM Prize
The IBMM Prize was established in 2006 and is awarded biennially at IBMM conference to an early career ion beam researcher (up to 7 years since obtaining the Ph.D degree) who has made an outstanding contribution to the field. The prize consists of a cash award and an invitation to present an invited talk at the IBMM conference. Sponsored by Elsevier.
Nominations should include at least one recommendation letter, and a Vitae with a list of publications. Self-nomination is also acceptable. All application material must be received by email to: Andre Vantomme andre.vantomme@kuleuven.be with a copy to Roger Webb R.Webb@surrey.ac.uk and fatima.kanu@iop.org.
The closing date for nominations is 15 April 2024.
Notification of award: 30 April 2024
Other Prizes
Prizes will also be awarded for the best presentations at the conference given by a student. These prizes will be sponsored by the UK National Ion Beam Centre and by the Paul Bailey Memorial fund. The allocation of the prizes will be determined by the conference international committee.
