Summer School and Workshops

High Pressure Summer School- SUSSP 78

The Scottish Universities Summer School in Physics 78 (SUSSP 78) will be held at the Centre for Science at Extreme Conditions, an institute within the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Edinburgh. The summer school will take place from the 18th – 23rd July, immediately prior to the AIRAPT and EHPRG International Conference on High Pressure Science and Technology. Workshop on the International Practical Pressure Scale (IPPS) 2023

This all day workshop will take place on Sunday 23 July in the EICC Conference Centre prior to the start of AIRAPT and EHPRG International Conference and will comprise two halves:

10am - 1pm: Equations of state from 100 GPa to TPa pressures
2pm - 5pm: Pressure reference points for multi-anvil systems

Attendance at the IPPS workshops is not limited to members of the IPPS Task Group, and if you are not currently a member but would like to be considered, please send an email to the chair of the IPPS Task Group, Yanbin Wang, ywang5@uchicago.edu.

Workshop on Transport Properties at High Pressure
This all day workshop will take place on Sunday 23 July from 10am to 5pm in the EICC Conference Centre prior to the start of AIRAPT and EHPRG International Conference.
