Bo Xu is a professor of the Center of High Pressure Science (CHiPS), State Key Laboratory of Metastable Materials Science and Technology, Yanshan University, China. He received his bachelor’s degree from University of Science and Technology in 1994 and his PhD from University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2002. After postdoctoral work at University of Maryland, College Park, he joined State Key Laboratory of Metastable Materials Science and Technology, Yanshan University in 2006. His research interests include novel metastable materials, superhard materials, and thermoelectric materials.
