Presenting from your personal laptop is not possible.
Please prepare your presentation in Windows only, PowerPoint or PDF only.
Please ensure that you keep within your allocated time slot as these will be strictly enforced by the session chairs.
You, as the presenting author, are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary copyright / permissions for all material included within your presentation.
There are 3 types of oral presentation at the conference and please prepare yours according to the type of talk you have been allocated: (i) Panel, (ii) Standard Plenary, (iii) and Parallel.
Panel Sessions: talk time 10 minutes (presentation with slides if required). Be prepared to contribute to collective panel discussions and a Q&A with the audience at the end of the session.
The 'Panel' sessions are: Space Weather End Users Panel (Monday), Space Safety with UKSA and ESA Panel (Monday), SDA/SSA/SST Panel (Tuesday), Space Skills Panel (Tuesday) and R202R Panel (Tuesday).
Standard Plenary Sessions: 15 minutes (12 mins + 3 mins Q&A).
The sessions are: A Global Perspective on Space Weather and Policy (Monday), Solar Science for Space Weather (Tuesday), EISCAT & LOFAR (Wednesday), The May 2024 Storm (Wednesday) and Upcoming Missions for Space Weather Science (Thursday).
Parallel Sessions: 15 minutes (12 mins + 3 mins Q&A).
The sessions are: 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D (Wednesday), 1E, 1F, 1G, 2E, 2F, 2G (Thursday).
Uploading your presentation and the on the day management
Monday presenters; please send your presentation at least the day before to vivien.thomas@iop.org (please use WeTransfer if your file is too large to send via email).
All other presenters; please send your presentation to vivien.thomas@iop.orgby the morning break the day before your presentation is due to take place.
Presenting remotely; please adhere to the above instructions for supplying your presentation (this is in case there are any technical difficulties with sharing screens on the day).
We recommend that you check for correct presentation of your files - in particular if they contain videos or other animated items.
