Adam is the quantum computing domain lead at QinetiQ. He is a quantum scientist, who was previously a lecturer at Aston University. His expertise broadly aligns with the field of quantum information, specifically applied to quantum computing, communication and networking applications. This is primarily through protocol design, whilst using a game-theoretic approach to allow formally understood optimisation techniques to be mapped to real-world scenarios. Additionally, he has prior experience in condensed matter physics, understanding how quantum effects yield novel macroscopic phenomena.
