Abstract Submission


Contributions for oral and poster presentations are invited in the themes listed below. Please submit your abstract (maximum of one page of A4) using the attached template. The submission deadline is 6 December 2024. Notification of acceptance will be sent you shortly before the programme is released. 

Topics:

  1. Characterisation, testing and performance measurements for photovoltaic materials, devices and modules 
  2. Crystalline silicon photovoltaics
  3. Indoor, space, Agri-PV, vehicle and other applications and new concepts in photovoltaics 
  4. Inorganic thin film, inorganic multijunction and concentrator photovoltaics 
  5. Perovskite, organic, tandems and DSSC photovoltaics 
  6. Photovoltaic systems, solar irradiance and monitoring, policy, sustainability, market development and life cycle analysis

Guidelines for preparing your technical abstract:

  • Prepare your abstract using this template
  • Length: 1 A4 page including all figures and references 
  • File format: PDF
  • Page layout: A4 paper (N.B. not US letter). 25mm margins, no page numbers or running heading/footers
  • Title: include the full title in the submissions file, do not use all caps, typed in bold font size 11
  • Font: 11pt Arial
  • Authors and affiliations: include full names and all co-authors and corresponding affiliations, with presenting author underlined, font size 11
  • Abstract text: single line spaced
  • Abstract figures/references: include an informative caption for any figure, scheme or illustration in your abstract.
Submission details:

  • Once you are ready to upload your abstract to the portal, please create an account selecting a memorable password as you will be expected to use the same password when you register for the event. For  last year's participants, this is a new account, different than last year's portal.
  • Please enter the title into the submission portal. 
  • Select your preferred topic
  • Indicate your preferred type of presentation (oral/poster). However, it is up to the Committee to make the final selection.
  • Enter your authors and co-authors. 
  • Indicate whether the presenting author is a student. 
  • Browse and upload your abstract to the system as a word document file.
