Registration


This event is open to everyone from all backgrounds whether you are a practicing physicist or if you have an interest in the subject and would like to know more. We invite you to register online by 20 September 2024.

Registration Fees

The registration fees include; access to the technical sessions, refreshments and lunch throughout the conference, a welcome reception at Whitworth Art Gallery on Tuesday 1 October, the conference dinner at The Midland Hotel on Wednesday 2 October, and event material.

Invitation for Schools: The first day of NuFor will be focused on introducing the field of Nuclear Forensics to newcomers, with talks from leading experts on their research and their careers in STEM – these accessible talks are suitable for audiences from GCSE & A-Level upwards, and we welcome schools and colleges to register for free to take part online including participating in Q&A sessions with our experts. Booking Information

Please click on the link below to be redirected to the registration portal. All fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory. If you have submitted an abstract for NuFor 2024, please login with the same email address and password, otherwise you will need to create a new account. You should also read our terms and conditions and Code of Conduct prior to completing your registration.


Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible. All cancellations must be made in writing.  Full details can be found in our terms and conditions. Submission of a registration is regarded as a firm booking (subject to availability) and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Participant's absence at the conference is not the basis for refund of the Conference fee.


Payment of Fees

In order to ensure that it complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS") and for the protection of its members and others, the Institute of Physics will only accept credit and/or debit card payments online through STRIPE secure payment server. 

If you are paying by BACS/Purchase order, an invoice will be attached to your registration confirmation. Our payment terms are strictly 30 days. Information on payment methods can be found via our website. We reserve the right to cancel any unpaid registrations. All payments must be received 20 September 2024.
