We are looking forward to welcoming you to Brighton for the IOP Nuclear Physics Conference. Please find below some information to assist you in planning and preparing your exhibition stand.
Venue:
The event will take place on the Moulsecoomb Campus at the University of Brighton, with activities based primarily in the Huxley Building, where the exhibition stands will be located.
Lunch and the poster session will be held in the Cockcroft Building, while the conference dinner will take place on Brighton Pier, situated in the city centre.

If you’re sending any items ahead of the conference and/or being collected afterwards, please ensure you follow these guidelines.
Deliveries will be accepted from Friday 10 April.
All deliveries should be clearly labelled as follows:

Collections must be made by 3pm on Wednesday 15 April. Any items not collected by this time and date will be disposed of. Please add the name of the courier, an approximate pick-up time and appropriate printed address labels onto each box. Please ask at the IOP registration desk as to where your items are to be stored in preparation for collection.
Deliveries and collections
If you plan to bring materials for your stand to the conference, you may unload directly outside the Huxley Building. Please be aware that parking in this area is limited to a maximum of 25 minutes; vehicles parked for longer may incur a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN). A parking permit must also be applied for in advance (see details below).
Set-up and breakdown
Set‑up access will be available from 09:00 on Monday 13 April. Upon arrival, please proceed to the Huxley Building to set up your stand and collect your conference badge and lanyard. Conference attendees will begin arriving from 10:30.
Breakdown is from 13:30 on Wednesday 15 April immediately after lunch.
The exhibitor tables are 4ft in length. Exhibitors should bring their own tablecloths
Storing items overnight during the conference
Items can be left in situ but this is at your own risk and the University and the IOP take no responsibility. We recommend that any valuable items or IT/tech equipment are removed at the end of each day.
WiFi
Wi‑Fi can be accessed via Eduroam or through the visitor network.
Parking
Parking on all university campuses is now pay to park which is monitored by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) at each car park - visitors to site will be required to pay a fee from £2.00 per day to park on campus which is payable via the registration site.
Please note individuals are personally responsible for ensuring they have paid the appropriate charges to park, failure to pay for parking will result in penalty charges. The Institute of Physics and University of Brighton are not liable for any penalty charges incurred by individuals.
Any equipment brought on site must be PAT tested, including extension cables.
We recommend that laptops, electronic devices and other items of value are not left unattended or unsecured on the stand at any time. The IOP or the University cannot accept responsibility for the loss of or damage to any items left unattended on the premises.
