Talk title: Terahertz Pulse Shaping and Chirality Control using a Spintronic-Semiconductor Hybrid Emitter
M. Benjamin Jungfleisch is an Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Delaware. His research interest encompasses a wide range of magnetism-related effects, including spin-transport phenomena and spin dynamics from GHz to THz frequencies. He received the Department of Energy Early Career Research Award in 2019, the National Science Foundation EPSCoR RII Track-4 Fellowship in 2018, and the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2024. Before joining the University of Delaware, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Argonne National Laboratory. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany.
