Oral Presenters

The lecture theatre will be equipped with a Screen, PC, PA System, Remote Clicker and a Laser Pointer. We recommend that presenters use the equipment available; direct connection of personal laptops is allowed, but is not the preferred approach. If you are planning to use your own laptop, please ensure you have the relevant adapters. All presenters must set-up in the break preceding their session.

Preparing your talk

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary copyright / permissions for all material included within their presentation.
  • We recommend that you use a minimum font size of 16pt and that you choose colours that contrast and compliment.
  • The screen resolution will be 16:9.
  • All presentations should be supplied on a USB memory stick. If you are intending to present from your own laptop, please ensure you bring the relevant adapters.
Delivering your presentation

  • Please make sure you have consulted the programme and are aware of the date and time for your talk.
  • Ensure you keep to the time allocated as this will be strictly enforced by the conference chairs.
Invited Talks: 30 minutes (25 + 5 minutes for questions)
Contributed Oral Talks: 20 (15 + 5 minutes for questions)
  • Visit the room in the break preceding your session to load your presentation to the in-house PC.
