Location
The exhibition will be located in Studios 1 and 2 in the John Dalton Building at Manchester Metropolitan University. The Studios are located on the first floor; lift access is available.

Please note that exhibitors will not be permitted to operate coffee machines, or provide alcohol or
catering consumables on their stands. Hospitality will be provided for all exhibitors as detailed in the
booking documents.
Deliveries will only be accepted for this event on
Friday 14 April and between 09:00 - 17:00. Deliveries will be very strictly managed and controlled and failure to adhere to the dates will result
in non-acceptance by the venue. Goods must be labelled clearly, and include:

Providing all delivery/collection dates are adhered to, goods may be sent by courier to the venue before
the event and returned after the event in the same way. Manchester Metropolitan University will take no
responsibility for this and the cost of the courier to/from must be pre-paid by the exhibitor. Any deliveries
by this method must include the name of the stand holder and the title of the event, and for returning
goods MUST include the name of the courier and the date of collection.
Manchester Metropolitan University is not responsible for any damage to goods during transit to and from
the venue. Goods may be discarded or penalty payments may be incurred if goods are not collected as
arranged after the event.
Unloading / Loading
There is an area close to the front of the Business School, where exhibitors may park to remove equipment
from their vehicles. Vehicle details should be supplied to the organisers in advance.
Because space is limited, exhibitors should off load/load their equipment as quickly as possible
and then remove their vehicle to a local car park.
VEHICLES MUST NOT BE PARKED UP AT ANY TIME.
Please note:
Drivers should follow instructions from venue staff
Ensure all drivers know their stand name and number
Drivers must not block entrances/exits
Drivers must remove their vehicles quickly
Parking
Parking is available in the NCP car parks on Chester Street next to the John Dalton building.
Electrics
To comply with conditions laid down by HSE and the venue, all connections made to the electrical supply
must be made by the official contractor (this does not include plugging simple equipment into a 13A
socket). The venue has the right to remove any stand of equipment which causes an obstruction or violates
Health and Safety Regulation.
The venue has the right to prevent the use of any electrical equipment brought by exhibitors which is
deemed dangerous or unfit for use. All exhibitors must carry out electrical testing and be able to provide
an up-to-date Portable Appliance Test Certificate as proof, upon request
Floor loading
Although no maximum permitted floor loading capacity for the venue has been advised, Exhibitors must
inform Manchester Metropolitan University of any heavy equipment being taken into the venue at the
earliest opportunity. Vehicular access is not possible.
Damage
The venue is rightly sensitive about damage and dilapidation to the building fixtures and fittings.
Exhibitors will be held responsible for any damage incurred on Manchester Metropolitan University’s
premises during occupancy as a direct result of their negligence or wilful default (fair wear and tear
excepted) and will be required to make good such damage at their own reasonable expense. Exhibitors
are strongly recommended to cover themselves against this and other eventualities through insurance.
