Abstract Submission

The deadline for oral presentations has now passed. However, we are still accepting abstracts for poster presentation via the submission portal. The deadline for submitting your abstract is 10 January 2025. Please read the information below, before starting your submission.

Abstracts will be categorised into the following ‘broad themes’. Note that there is an expectation that by submitting an abstract, the presenting author will go on to register. There is no fee for submitting your abstract(s).

  • Physics for sustainable food 
  • Soft-matter physics 
  • Food colloids and molecular assemblies 
  • Measurement and imaging 
  • Physics in food processing 
  • Modelling of food structure and processing 
  • Physics of oral processing and digestion 
  • Physics of agriculture and soils

Submission Details

  • To begin your submission, please create an account selecting a memorable password as you will be expected to login to register. 
  • The abstract title, authors and their affiliation should be entered in the corresponding fields.
  • Indicate whether the presenting author is a student. 
  • The length of an abstract is limited to 250 words (figures and references are not permitted)
