The sessions aim to formally launch Ireland Biophysics and provide a platform to showcase biophysics research across Ireland. They will highlight interdisciplinary approaches to biological problems, spanning experimental, theoretical and computational biophysics. The programme will focus on key themes in biophysics, including membranes, proteins and amyloids, nucleic acids, synthetic cells, single cells and tissues, nanoparticles, drug delivery, and biophysics in health and disease. A central objective is to initiate dialogue between Irish and international researchers, identify opportunities for collaboration, and define priorities for future network activities, including training, shared infrastructure and joint funding initiatives. This year’s programme will include invited speakers, speakers selected from submitted abstracts, flash presentations by poster presenters to preview their work, and award lectures.
