About

The International Conference on Engineering Synthetic Cells and Organelles is back!

Mimicking the complex processes and functions of living cells is an exciting yet considerable challenge. It not only offers insights into fundamental biological questions but also promises the development of technological solutions inspired by nature to address global challenges—from food safety and health to environmental stewardship.

SynCell conferences aim to support the scientific community working on designing synthetic cells and organelles from the ground up. The next edition, SynCell2026, will be held in London from 22 to 24 April 2026. During three days, researchers from around the world will have the opportunity to meet and discuss the latest advances in bottom-up synthetic biology.

During this event, participants will be able to expand their network, share their research and expertise, exchange ideas and forge new collaborations. The programme will feature plenary, parallel and poster sessions.

Don't wait to register—attendance is limited to 150 participants!
