Ross Leon

Dr. Ross C. C. Leon is a Staff Quantum Engineer at Quantum Motion Technologies Ltd, a London-based quantum computing start-up focused on scaling to millions of qubits by leveraging existing silicon CMOS fabrication technologies.

He earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from University of New South Wales, Australia, in 2020, where he conducted experimental research on gate-defined silicon quantum dots. His work explored the properties of multi-electron quantum dots and their use as qubits.

At Quantum Motion, Dr. Leon leads the experimental team in advancing the company’s quantum hardware platform, focusing on the design and validation of Si-MOS qubit devices compatible with commercial fabrication and demonstrating unit cells for scalable qubit architectures.
