Lucía Iglesias received her
PhD from the University of Santiago de Compostela (2019), studying the role of
oxygen vacancies in thin films and oxide interfaces. After a short postdoc at
the Unité Mixte de Physique CNRS/Thales laboratory in France, she became a
permanent CNRS researcher in the Oxitronics group in the same lab in 2022. Her
work focuses on synthesizing nickel-based superconductors, studying defects in
oxides, and emerging properties in thin films. She has expertise in growing
oxide heterostructures via pulsed laser deposition, structural characterization
and transport measurements. She is also skilled in electronic structure
calculations using Density Functional Theory.
