Andreas received his PhD (Dr. phil. nat.) at the
Goethe University in Frankfurt under supervision of Prof. Dr. Peter Kopietz.
Afterward, he performed postdoctoral research at the University of Florida in
the group of Prof. Dr. Peter J. Hirschfeld
and subsequently at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen with Prof. Dr. Brian
M. Andersen. He then moved to the University of Leipzig and worked in the group of Prof. Dr.
Bernd Rosenow where he completed the Habilitation in 2020.
He is currently an Assistant professor at the Niels Bohr institute.
