Pascal Puphal is a Scientist at the Max Planck Institute of Solid State Research. He studied physics in Frankfurt, where he got a doctorate in the group of C. Kellner focusing on ground state control of Cu bases quantum spin systems and was awarded for this work with the price for young scientists of the DGKK. Before switching to the Max Planck he did a Postdoc at the Paul Scherrer Institute working on topical weyl semimetals grown via OFZ and studied by neutrons. Now his work mainly focuses on Nickelate superconductors.
