Dr. Juliette Monsel

Juliette Monsel is a research specialist at the Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her research focuses mainly on quantum thermodynamics applied, in particular, to optomechanical systems and electronic transport.
She finished her Ph.D. in theoretical physics under the supervision of Alexia Auffèves in Grenoble, France, in 2019 and was awarded a Springer Thesis Award for her thesis dissertation. She then joined the group of Janine Splettstoesser at Chalmers in 2020 as a postdoctoral researcher and now holds a permanent position there.
