Registration Times
On arrival at the conference, please collect your badge and conference material from the registration desk located in the reception foyer. The registration desk will be staffed by the Institute of Physics and open during the following hours:

Thursday 9 April
09:00 - 18:15
Friday 10 April
09:30 - 16:00
Talks and Posters
All talks will take place in the Theatre.
Posters will be displayed in the corridor next to the Pentland.

Exhibition
The exhibition will be held throughout the conference alongside refreshments, lunch, and the poster session in Centro and the Concourse . Exhibitors contribute towards the cost to operate the event, and we would therefore encourage you to visit the exhibitors to find out about their products and services, and how they can support you. Catering
Catering will be held at set times during the programme. If you indicated when registering for the conference that you have a specific dietary requirement or allergy, please make yourself known to the catering team.
Social Programme
We have an exciting programme of social activities planned for the conference which includes a welcome drinks reception on Wednesday 8, following the technical day, and a cèilidh and buffet at South Hall on Thursday 9 April.

Parking
Parking is available on a first come first served basis. During the conference times, the barrier will be staffed and all cars using the conference centre car park should have a permit. These can be requested at the main entrance barrier.
If you arrive during times where the barrier is not staffed, please proceed to the main reception where permit can be requested. Set-up and breakdown
Environmental Policy
The organisers and the organising committee recognise their environmental responsibilities and are committed to ensuring the event is as sustainable as possible. To achieve this, we have:
Minimised waste by reducing consumption.
Effective waste management and recycling points
Stopped waste by using upcycled, recycled, or reusable items
Worked with ethical partners when purchasing supplies
Complied with all applicable environmental legislation and relevant codes of practice.
Health and Safety
Your safety at the event is our top priority and as such we plan for all eventualities and emergencies. At least one member of the on-site team is a trained first aider and will be able to assist should you have a medical issue.
Code of Conduct
