Information for Attendees

Travel:

The organisers and the organising committee recognise their environmental responsibilities and are committed to ensuring the event is as sustainable as possible. We therefore encourage participants, wherever possible, to use sustainable means to get to conference venues and while travelling around the city centre. Arrival:

On arrival, please collect your badge and conference material from the reception desk on the ground floor before making your way to levels 12 and 13 where the conference will be held. Level 12 and 13 are accessible via a bank of lifts. You will need to wear your badge while on-site at the venue, so please ensure that you bring it with you to the conference each day. Replacement badges can be issued at the registration desk.

Catering:

Refreshments and lunch will be served at set times during the programme. Please refer to the online schedule. All dietary requirements that have been requested during the registration process have been noted and passed to the catering teams. Please speak to the catering staff each day if you have any questions. 

Allergen Information:

Menu dishes are prepared in environments that are not totally free from allergen ingredients. Hygiene practices are designed to reduce the risk of allergen contamination and the catering teams receive training to help ensure that these standards are met. The catering team will highlight any dishes that contain allergens on the menus displayed in the catering space.

Should anyone require food and drink outside of catering times, there is a cafe on the ground floor of The Spine. The cafe opens at 07:30.

Social Programme:

  • Poster and Exhibitor Reception - We will be hosting two receptions on Monday and Tuesday evening from 18:00 - 20:00. These receptions will be held across Levels 12 and 13 of The Spine and provides participants with an opportunity to view the posters (located in conference spaces 8 and 9) and visit the exhibitors, who will be located in the Atrium (level 12). 

  • Conference Dinner - The conference dinner will be held at the Crowne Plaza Liverpool City Centre, 2 St Nicholas Place, Princes Dock, Liverpool L3 1QW. The Crowne Plaza is approximately a 15-20 minute walk (downhill) from The Spine. Buses will be provided for anyone who doesn't wish to make their own way there and will start departing from The Spine at 19:00. The last bus will leave at 19:30. If you are making your own way there, please ensure you arrive by 19:45.
