Presenting from your personal laptop is not possible.
Please prepare your presentation in Windows PowerPoint or PDF only.
Please ensure that you keep within your allocated time slot as these will be strictly enforced by the session chairs.
You, as the presenting author, are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary copyright / permissions for all material included within your presentation.
There are 3 types of oral presentation at the conference and please prepare yours according to the type of talk you have been allocated:
10 minute with panel: talk time 10 minutes. Please note that individual Q&A sessions will not follow each presentation. Instead, be ready to actively participate in the collective panel discussion and audience Q&A at the end of the session.
15 minute talk: 15 minutes (12 mins + 3 mins Q&A).
Keynote talk: 30 minutes (24 mins + 6 mins Q&A).
Uploading your presentation and the on the day management
Monday presenters; please send your presentation at least the day before to vivien.thomas@iop.org (please use WeTransfer if your file is too large to send via email).
All other presenters; please send your presentation to vivien.thomas@iop.org by the morning break the day before your presentation is due to take place.
Presenting remotely; please adhere to the above instructions for supplying your presentation (this is in case there are any technical difficulties with sharing screens on the day).
We recommend that you check for correct presentation of your files - in particular if they contain videos or other animated items.
