This event is open to everyone from all backgrounds whether you are a practicing physicist or if you have an interest in the subject and would like to know more. We invite you to register online by 26 August 2026.

The conference will be taking place at the beautiful Vale Resort in Glamorgan. We are pleased to offer an all-inclusive package that includes a 5-day stay at The Vale Resort for the duration of the conference. For those who would prefer to book their own accommodation, we are also offering a 'conference only' registration that includes admission to the conference without the hotel booking. please see below for more details about what is included in each package.

Accommodation at The Vale Resort from Sunday 13 September to Friday 18 September (checkout on Friday)
Dinner at the hotel on the following nights: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Breakfast at the hotel on the following mornings: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Admission to the conference, including all sessions, catered tea/coffee breaks and lunch
Admission to the conference dinner at Hensol Castle

2. Conference Only

Allows you the freedom to make and manage your own hotel booking, but not as cost-effective as the full package

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible. All cancellations must be made in writing. Full details can be found in our terms and conditions. Submission of a registration is regarded as a firm booking (subject to availability) and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Participant's absence at the conference is not the basis for refund of the Conference fee.

Payment of Fees

In order to ensure that it complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS") and for the protection of its members and others, the Institute of Physics will only accept credit and/or debit card payments online through STRIPE secure payment server.

If you are paying by BACS/Purchase order, an invoice will be attached to your registration confirmation. Our payment terms are strictly 30 days. Information on payment methods can be found via our website. We reserve the right to cancel any unpaid registrations. All payments must be received 26 August 2026.
