Oral Presenters Guidelines


The auditorium is equipped with the following audio-visual equipment:

  • Data Projector 
  • Screen
  • Lapel or hand-held radio microphones
  • Presenters console
  • Integrated PC
  • Remote clicker
  • Laser Pointer

Preparing your presentation

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary copyright / permissions for all material included within their presentation.
  • Presentations should be formatted in 16:10. Screen resolution is 1920 x 1200
  • We recommend that you use a minimum font size of 16pt and that you chose colours that contrast and compliment
  • Authors may bring their presentation on a USB memory stick and pre-load onto the integrated PC in the Auditorium or use their own computer to present from.

Delivering your presentation

  1. Please make sure you have consulted the programme and are aware of the date and time for your talk. 
  2. Ensure you keep to the time allocated as this will be strictly enforced by the conference chairs. 
    1. Plenary Talks: 60 minutes (45 + 15 minutes for questions)
    2. Invited Talks: 40 minutes (30 + 10 minutes for questions)
    3. Contributed Oral Talks: 20 minutes (15 + 5 minutes for questions)
  3. Please ensure you have set up and tested your presentation prior to the start of the session.
