Adam McKenzie

I am currently a Research Associate working on the University of Glasgow’s Critical Technologies Accelerator project. My research interests focus on MOVPE growth and characterisation of III-V semiconductors for photonics applications. My main expertise is in epitaxial regrowth and electron microscopy analysis of nanostructured lasers, such as DFBs and PCSELs, and I have eight year’s experience working within the photonics industry in Scotland, at both Sivers Photonics and Vector Photonics. I have an interest in advancing UK-Japan collaboration and will be spending this summer at the University of Tokyo as JSPS Fellow.
