Fredrik S. Hage received his PhD in Physics in 2013 from the University of Oslo, Norway. From 2013 to 2020 he worked as a Staff Scientist at the SuperSTEM Laboratory, the EPSRC National Research Facility for Advanced Electron Microscopy, in Daresbury, UK. In 2021 he moved back to Norway to take up an Associate Professorship at the Department of Physics, University of Oslo. His research is primarily focused on using electron energy loss spectroscopy in the scanning transmission electron microscope to study electronic structure, vibrational and optical properties of nanomaterials, including defects.
