Abstract Submission

We invite contributions for oral and poster presentations on the topics listed below, which may be interpreted broadly. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words and submitted online by 6 February 2026 {extended deadline}.

Themes include (but are not limited to):

Synthetic and designer membranes
Membrane-biomolecule interactions
Membrane sculpting and remodelling
Advanced imaging and characterisation techniques
Applications in biotechnology, drug delivery, and synthetic cells

Submission Details

Abstract submission implies a commitment from the presenting author to register for the event.
To begin your submission, please create an account selecting a memorable password as you will be expected to login to register.
Please indicate your preferred presentation format: oral, poster, or virtual poster. While the organising committee will take your preference into consideration, availability of options cannot be guaranteed.
Enter your abstract title (limited to 25 words)
The abstract title, authors and their affiliation should be entered in the corresponding fields.
Indicate whether the presenting author is a student.
The length of an abstract is limited to 250 words (figures and references are not permitted)

If you have completed the submission portal successfully, you will be able to submit your abstract otherwise it will only be possible to save as a draft. Once submitted, the corresponding author will receive an email confirming receipt of the submission as well as log in information which can be used to edit the submission and check the status.
