Guidance for Attendees


We are excited to welcome you to the Clusters'26 Conference, taking place from Monday 8 to Friday 12 June 2026 at the Institute of Physics:

ARRIVALS: 

Upon arrival, please check in with Tima at the registration desk next to the big screens (not the main reception). Registration opens at 8:30AM on Monday June 8, 2026, kindly avoid arriving earlier as we will be setting up

The event will be held in the Gallery and Lecture Theatres on Level -1, accessible via the main stairs or lifts. 

- Speakers:
Please check your assigned presentation time on the programme. Before your session, speak with our AV technician, (Simon), located at the back of the Lecture Theatre. He will assist with uploading your presentation from a memory stick or connecting your laptop. Please click here to access the full details of the oral presentations


Transportation: 
We recommend using public transport, as there is no on-site parking. The nearest station is King’s Cross St Pancras, just a 5-minute walk away and served by National Rail and multiple Underground lines (Circle, Metropolitan, Piccadilly, Hammersmith & City, Northern, and Victoria). Catering: 
Refreshments and lunch will be provided at scheduled times. Lunch will be a finger buffet with meat, vegetarian, and vegan options. If you indicated dietary requirements during registration, a tailored meal has been arranged. For any additional dietary needs or allergies, please contact us. 


Health and Safety: No fire drills are planned. If the alarm sounds, evacuate immediately via the main staircase or the rear staircase (highlighted at the start of the day). The assembly point is outside Tesco, to the right of the building. Do not use lifts during evacuation. If you require assistance, inform a staff member. A trained first aider will be available – please go to the main reception if you need help. 


WiFi Access: WiFi is available through the IOP public network. No password is required, but you must agree to the terms and conditions before accessing the network. 


Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct, which outlines the expected behaviour at all IOP events. You can view the Code of Conduct at www.iop.org/code-conduct.
