Instructions for Oral Presentations


The conference programme is available to view, please make sure you are aware of the time of your talk. Please note: talk times may change right up until the day, please keep checking back to the programme for your latest presentation time. 

Preparing your presentation

Please ensure that you keep within your allocated time slot as these will be strictly enforced by the session chairs:

  • Short talk: Duration 20 mins (15 mins talk + 5 mins Q&A)
  • Flash Talks: Duration 6 mins (5 mins talk + 1 min Q&A)

You, as the presenting author, are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary copyright / permissions for all material included within your presentation.

On the day management

  • Please present from your laptop on the day. If it’s not possible to use your own laptop, please bring your presentation on a USB and upload it to the room computer.
  • To rehearse your talk and to check correct presentation of your slides, please use the break preceding your talk.
  • The Chair of the session will introduce each talk and then moderate all questions from the audience.
