Abstract Submission


We have started sending out decisions on the submitted posters; all the decisions will be communicated before Monday the 11th of November. If you have not heard back regarding the status of your abstract by this date, please email sarah.evans@iop.org.

We invite PhD/Postgraduate students and Early Career Researchers to submit an abstract for poster presentation at the Statistical Physics of Cognition workshop. 

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Mathematical and Statistical modelling of brain functions
  • Network Science approaches to neuroscience
  • Criticality and Neuronal Avalanches
  • Information-theoretic analysis of brain dynamics
  • Experimental validation of physics-based approaches in neuroscience

Submission Guidelines:
Please submit a concise abstract (maximum 250 words) highlighting the key findings of your research. If your submission is accepted, you will be required to prepare a poster for presentation at the workshop. All submissions must be received by 7 November, 2024 (DEADLINE EXTENDED).

Please complete all sections of the form and agree to the terms and conditions. The corresponding author will receive an email confirming receipt of the submission. Further information can be found in the submission portal.
