Registration

Progress in Physics 2024 is a hybrid conference. In-person attendance is strongly encouraged to ensure that as many delegates as possible benefit from the direct interaction with speakers as well as wider networking opportunities over the two days. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided. For those who are not able to join in-person there is also an option to register online for free. 

This event is open to everyone from all backgrounds whether you are a practicing physicist or if you have an interest in the subject and would like to know more. Please read our terms and conditions and code of conduct prior to completing your registration. If you have issues with the fee please contact us and we may be able to offer sponsorship.

The registration fees are listed below. Registration includes refreshments, lunch and a drinks reception on each day.

  • Registration Fee - £40 + VAT*
*VAT is calculated at the current rate of 20%. 
If the rate is altered as a result of government legislation, charges may be adjusted accordingly.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing. Full details can be found in our terms and conditions. Submission of a registration is regarded as a firm booking (subject to availability) and acceptance of these terms and conditions.


Payment of Fees

In order to ensure that it complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS") and for the protection of its members and others, the Institute of Physics will only accept credit and/or debit card payments online through STRIPE secure payment server.
