Ruby Peters

Dr. Ruby Peters completed her PhD in Physics at King’s College London in 2019 under supervision of Prof. Dylan Owen, after which she joined the lab of Prof. Ewa Paluch at the University of Cambridge. Dr. Peters is a specialist in super resolution microscopy: a family of techniques that bypass the classical diffraction limit of light and allows for the visualisation of single molecules within cells. By use of super resolution microscopy approaches, Dr. Peters aims to understand how cells control their shape during cell division through the nanoscale organisation and dynamics of the cellular cortex.
