Guidelines for Poster Presenters

Posters will be on display throughout the event and a dedicated flash talk and poster session will be held from 1:45pm and 3:15pm. During the flash talk session, authors can deliver a 1-minute presentation to provide a quick introduction to their work and encourage attendees to visit their poster. During this session, authors are asked to be available to  facilitate discussions on their work and answer any questions.

Preparing your poster

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary copyright / permissions for all material.
  • Posters should be prepared no larger than A0 in size (84.1 x 118.9 cm / 33.1 x 46.8 inches), in a portrait format.

On the day management

  • Posters can be mounted from 09:00 and can be left on display until 16:30. Any posters that are not removed by this time will be recycled.
  • Your poster number will be available via the programme a few days before the event is due to start - this corresponds to your board. Please check the website for updates. Alternatively, please make you way to the registration desk on arrival at the event, and a member of the conferences team will be pleased to confirm your poster number.
  • Fixing material will be supplied which is adequate for laminated posters. Fabric posters may be harder to mount.
