The Sustainable Thermoelectrics European Network (SUSTENET) COST Action (CA24120) invites you to a dedicated workshop focused on bringing sustainability to the heart of thermoelectric material development. Organised as a co-located event alongside ECT2026, this workshop offers a unique platform for researchers, industry professionals, and innovators to explore how sustainable principles can guide material selection and design.

Across two interactive sessions, active participants of SUSTENET from Working Group 1 (Scaling Sustainability through Artificial Intelligence) and Working Group 2 (Applications and User Cases) will share insights on:

• Application-to-materials selection workflows (translate application needs into sustainable material candidates).
• AI-powered tools for assessing sustainability in material choices.
• Emerging standards and frameworks for greener thermoelectrics, including good-practice guidelines, benchmarking, and consistency across materials and devices.
• Practical applications and case studies shaping the future of sustainable energy solutions.

Speakers will be announced in due time, ensuring a line-up of leading voices from within the SUSTENET network.
