Invited Speaker

Michihiro Ohta is the Leader of the Thermal Energy Device Research Team at the Global Zero Emission Research Center, AIST, Japan. He received his Ph.D. from Kyushu Institute of Technology in 2002. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at NIMS and Muroran Institute of Technology. In 2011 he was a visiting researcher at Argonne National Laboratory. His research spans thermoelectric science and engineering, from the development of high‑performance thermoelectric materials to module and system integration and practical applications. He is currently serving as an Executive Board Member (General Affairs) of the Thermoelectrics Society of Japan (TSJ).
