Talk title: Defect engineering and triangular copper as key drivers for ultralow thermal conductivity in Cu2ZrS3 polytypes
Lucas Le Gars is a postdoctoral researcher at the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences, Kyushu University, Japan, working with Koichiro Suekuni. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science from the CRISMAT Laboratory (Caen, France), where he worked under the supervision of Emmanuel Guilmeau. His research is dedicated to the study of copper sulfide-based thermoelectric materials, combining solid-state synthesis, crystal chemistry, and physical property characterization. His interests mainly focus on understanding structure–property relationships and developing high-performance thermoelectric sulfides for energy conversion applications.
